Loved staying here for five nights with my husband and one year old! Walkable locations and close to all the things we love about Austin! Very clean and everything we needed to cook a meal or head to the springs! Would stay again for sure!

Easy to find and really great area with access to all parts of the city. Very communicative host.
The interior of the rental was well represented by the photos. The exterior entrance is down a few stairs without a railing so could be problematic for some.
The sofa was replaced during our stay and we were given a discount for the inconvenience.

Lovely, cozy place with easy access to Barton Springs and Zilker Park. Perfect for 2 or 3 people.

Reasonably priced and a good location for the activities we enjoyed. Nothing was too far away and some restaurants and parks were even walkable. The place was clean and peaceful.

Amazing place located within walking distance of Zilker park. The property is nicely furnished with everything you could possibly need. Spent a week here over the holidays with husband and dog and would definitely return. All around awesome!

We stayed here for ACL weekend and had a great time, it was really great to be able to bring our dog along so we really appreciated an apartment so close to Zilker Park that was pet friendly. A comfortable little apartment that was perfect for me, my partner, and our friend who took the single bed in the smaller room, it was about a 10-15 minute park to the ACL main gate so was perfect for us. Early in the morning it was really nice to walk our dog down close to Barton Springs, and was easy to drive in and out. Thanks for letting us stay, it was a great experience, we'd definitely stay here again!

Comfortable stay neat the park

Wonderful place to stay, helpful host. Comes with everything to make you feel at home. Easy walk to Barton Springs. Home was cute and clean, bed was comfortable and neighborhood was safe and quiet

The Retro was a lovely apartment for my 6-week sojourn in Austin. Cynthia provided a lot of detail before my arrival so I knew what to expect and had notes to refer to, such as, how to access the laundry. She also made sure they had my contact details, and I had theirs to communicate in the easiest way for me eg. email or messages.

The kitchen is really well kitted out that I could cook most things and there were even tupperware containers for freezing or taking meals out with you for the day. The terrace is delightful, and I utilised it well. The bed in the master bedroom is HUGE! Good storage options to pack your belongings away, too.

The location is super close to Zilker park and Barton Springs and the whole region south of town lake is full of strong food and drink options. The street itself is really tranquil.

The coffee grinder wasn;t working and Cynthia replaced it within a few hours. I also had issues with the wifi at the weekend and Cynthia was straight on to an engineer.

We stayed 2 nights at the Retro and really enjoyed it! The space is quaint, clean and was in a great location. The hosts were fantastic communicators and I really appreciate how responsive they were.
