You can’t beat this location for visiting Barton Springs! A reserved parking space and a short walk to the park were two of the biggest draws of this place. I was also excited to find a place that allowed me to bring my cat when almost every other AirBnB in the area was strictly no cat, even the ones that said pets allowed.

The interior was unremarkable, but not in a bad way. Bed was nice, bathroom and kitchen were decent, living room was reasonably comfortable. Host was communicative and responsive and left laminated notes all over the place so one never had any question on how to operate anything or how to check out or anything like that. Check-in and check out were easy.

I would recommend taking a few photos of the place on arrival to avoid any risk of being accidentally blamed for damage caused by previous guests, but this is probably best practice at any AirBnB that isn’t in perfect condition.

All you need for a stay in Austin! Walkable to Barton Sorings and town lake. Roomy bedroom and comfy bed. Very clean. Nice balcony and pretty view over the trees. Washer/dryer available on site for 6-plex and easy to access. Parking right outside front door.

We enjoyed a great month at this home while we looked for a place to rent in the area. Walkable to zilker/barton springs and has everything you need!

The location is amazing it’s so close to everything it was so nice to get up and hit the trails every morning. The bed was very comfortable and they have everything you need. Communication was great, would absolutely stay again!

This is my third time staying with this owner. The apartments are consistently solid and the owners are very responsive. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing stay for a weekend trip. We loved all the amenities provided and how close this place was to the park and amazing restaurants. We joked we would even love to live there. We would come back in a heart beat

Another lovely stay at the ATX house, great Zilker Park area location. We always enjoy this area of Austin. There are walkable areas, nearby Barton Springs, easy access to highways, and very good local restaurants and food trucks. Not everything in walking distance, but close within a short drive.
The apartment is charming and functional, has a well furnished kitchen, a VERY comfortable bed, and a wonderful deck for relaxing. Parking is a designated space off the road in front of the building. The heat and the AC also work very well, as it was chilly…then hot!
We had an issue with the TV, and our hosts got right on it and brought a missing antenna. Be aware the laundry is downstairs below the building, not in the unit, but well equipped. I highly recommend booking one of their units, they are attentive and responsive hosts!

We’ve stayed in a handful of other places near Zilker, but this place is top of the list. The unit is very spacious and easy to access. Great amenities and well stocked. We hope to return!

I travel freqently for disc golf tournaments and this was the nicest place yet. I traveled with my wife this time, and we both found the ATX House to be ideal. I was able to watch the WS, the location was ideal for South Austin and the place was very clean and well-stocked. The giant King size bed was very comfortable, the shower had great water pressure and soaps were well-stocked. Lots of space to put stuff in the large bedroom. Good lighting for reading. Well stocked kitchen (although I prefer a gas range). Great temperature control and a cool electric fireplace for coziness and warmth!

Well worth what we paid, modern and free of clutter. I would stay again if I returned for the NADGT tournament next Fall. Highley recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay there. The apartment was cozy and very clean; we felt very comfortable, and the communication was excellent. We highly recommend the apartment and we would book it again anytime.

Such a great spot! We were so pleased with the location. It is walkable to Barton Springs and restaurants, or just a quick drive. The Airbnb itself was clean. We were really surprised by the patio and loved how serene the large windows made everything feel. Clear instructions were provided for check-in and check-out.

This is a lovely place in a great location. The ATX House is very well equipped, so packing was a breeze. We especially enjoyed the spacious balcony and the variety of herbal teas provided. We love the neighborhood and walked to Barton Creek Greenbelt or Zilker park almost daily. It's also doable to walk to restaurants, etc. on South Lamar. We Ubered from the Gus Fruh trailhead to Snooze, then walked back to The ATX House easily. It was a great place to relax when we weren't out and about. Highly recommend!

This place is fabulous if you would like a get away retreat. We spent loads of time on the deck, enjoying the trees.
This is the most well stocked Airbnb we've ever stayed in. We absolutely recommend it. The location was absolutely beautiful and driving to grab dinner was no problem at all. it's a quick drive to either Terry Black's (the beef ribs are out of this world good) or Green Mesquite.
if you're looking for a place that is right in the heart of downtown, this is not it.
If you're looking for a peaceful retreat, you couldn't do much better. ?

Cynthia's place is very comfortable, close to Zilker Park, and in a very nice neighborhood.

I lived in Austin for 15 years was very familiar with the location so I knew exactly what I was getting into. Great area for restaurants, activities, animals downtown shopping.

Very quiet street with easy access to Barton Springs and some restaurants.

The house has older construction and appliances, but everything worked well. Would recommend staying here for a casual trip.

I loved how close it was to Austin’s greenbelts! The neighborhood is also really pretty to walk around. Good coffee provided. Great vibes all around.

Cynthia was an amazing host and the accommodations were lovely. Bright and clean with an incredible screened in balcony. The views were so peaceful and relaxing. She thought of everything down to umbrellas and tote bags. Thank you for a wonderful and convenient place to call home as we explored Austin.

Nice quiet area to stay. Not a lot of traffic noise.
We have toddlers so it was nice staying at a place not “too heavy” decorated with Knick knacks. I was afraid I would have to worry about them breaking things but it was a clean minimalist place so not a lot to distract the kids. Always a bonus!

The apartment is lovely, clean and well appointed! Walkable to large near by Zilker park.

Cynthia was quick to respond. We’d had a host cancel on us at the last minute, so within a short time we heard back with availability and instructions for check in. The space itself was exactly as described. Our favorite part was location and the amazing covered porch! We’ve been coming to Austin over the last 6 years and this place was by far our favorite place to stay!

Such a great stay! The place is wonderful and I felt right at home. The location is everything I hoped for - great walking and nature around but an easy walk/scooter/drive to downtown. Highly recommend.
